W. Anita Braha Barrister and Solicitor | Developing respectful workplaces through planning, prevention & management

W. Anita Braha

In helping my clients develop respectful workplaces that are in accordance with human rights obligations and sound labour and employment practices, I bring together three sets of skills and experiences to the services I provide: the substantive knowledge and analytical mind of a lawyer; the clarity and distillation skills of an educator and the practical hands-on experience of an administrator.

I have practised law since 1988, principally in the human rights area, taught part-time at Capilano College (now University) from 2000 to 2007 in the Labour Studies, Political Studies and Women’s Studies departments and was the Interim Director of Human Resources at Vancouver Community College in 2008 and 2009.

I am the Consulting Editor of The Annotated British Columbia Human Rights Code, Canada Law Book.
